“I have had the pleasure and joy of practicing yoga with Ursula for close to 3 years. She is an amazing teacher, and more importantly a lovely presence, both inside and outside the studio. Her truthful, genuine, and often humorous nature creates an atmosphere that allows one to be mindful of their yoga practice, but not too serious to fear taking risks and taking oneself too seriously. She is a rockstar! “

“Ursula didn't just change my body, she changed my mind. I am in both the best mental and physical shape on my life and I owe it to her. With generosity, kindness, compassion, and an awesome musical soundtrack, Ursula leads the way, saving the world one yoga class at a time.

"Ursula, and her amazing approach to the practice of yoga, transformed my mind and body. I joined her classes as a frazzled and out of shape law student and left a more centered, spiritual, and healthy woman (with a much tighter toosh to boot). It is the ultimate integrative exercise! "
Mary Kristen, New York
“If you are looking for a workout for your body and your soul, Ursula's yoga class is the one for you. I was lucky enough to find Ursula when I first started practicing Yoga. She creates heat through the poses, which allow you to stretch and build strength. Regardless of lack of strength and flexibility, practicing with Ursula allows you to improve day by day. The most important part of the class is what the practice does for your soul. The class calms your mind through physical yoga poses, essentially allowing you to meditate while you are getting a sweat drenched workout. I have followed Ursula through several yoga studios because I have not been able to find another excellent mixture of workout and meditative instruction like her. She is a beautiful soul and that helps as well. Her classes are addicting, even if you hate working out or sweating because you always feel healed both physically and mentally. “

“I could never enjoy yoga. I would try class after class and I could never stop you know that list in your head from taking over. Well Ursula's yoga class changed all that. There’s just something about the intense yet soothing workout she gives you in an hour an a half that it just clicked for me. She has taught me so much about what my body can do if you just let go of the ego and breathe. I am so grateful to have the opportunity to take yoga with her once a week. Before I dreaded it, now I can live with out it. “
Julia Fisher, West Hollywood
“I have been taking yoga for several years now and the best way to describe Ursula is simply such a breath of fresh air. Ursula has a gift that is rare in the yoga world which is creativity, a thorough understanding of how each person is unique and an eagerness to learn and connect with each of her students (50+ students to a class) so each person can find their own true sense of well being. Personally, I would describe myself as an over-achiever. I work out for about 3-4 hours a day, 6 days a week and sometimes I push myself too hard. Ursula has been able to encourage me to take a step back and get in touch with the present state of my body and to listen to my body more than perhaps I do sometimes. I can say with complete confidence that we are so privileged to have a teacher like Ursula. Additionally, she is just so incredibly friendly and has such a zest for life. She also believes in giving back to the community and volunteers her time towards important causes that she believes in. Coming from a corporate philanthropy background, I really respect that and think it speaks volumes when someone demonstrates such a stellar sense of integrity and compassion that she does.”

“After having a horrible yoga experience, I never thought that I'd step foot into another one...Until Ursula's class. She's challenging, inspiring, and constantly pushes each student to his/her full potential. She’s made me believe in myself again! Her classes are definitely addicting.... “
Shelley A. Stewart, West Hollywood
“When I first walked into Ursula’s class two years ago, I was a yoga novice and my life had become a bit of a mess. And while I can still let myself get a bit messy from time to time, I have to say that today my life is 100% better. I owe much of it to Ursula and the strength her class has given me. She can be funny. Touching. And tough. But the power of her class is transformative. I am often very sore afterwards, but I'm always very grateful.”-

"Ursula has taught me not only the fundamentals of the physical practice of yoga, but also the spiritual significance of reconciling my battle with ego, and the mental exercise of balance, endurance, and presence. Her method inspires a cohesive healing of the mind, body, and soul."
Skye Ritvo, Venice

I would describe Ursula's style of teaching as 'tough love'. Her classes can be very difficult and challenging, but her supportive, caring instruction enables you to push yourself further than you ever think you can go. I've been taking her classes for over 2 years now. In that time, I have seen a dramatic improvement in my practice. Ursula's classes are always very different, so you'll never get bored. In fact, I take her class 4-5 times per week. She has a great sense of humor, which can really help you through the more strenuous postures. The classes flow at a good pace. Just when you think you can't go on, the standing postures come to an end and it's time for the class to wind down. After her class you walk away completely relaxed, ready to take on anything life hands you.

“Ursula's practice is the highlight of my week. It gives me the chance to re-center my mind, body and soul. Her calm nature encourages me to escalate my practice to the next level; all the while respecting my body. I am happy to have found my "yoga home."
